Dr. P.L. Srinivasa Rao is an energy and sustainability expert with extensive experience in green hydrogen, compressed biogas, and renewable energy systems. With over 15 years in research and implementation, his work focuses on developing scalable clean energy solutions for industrial and national energy needs.

He currently serves as Deputy General Manager at GERMI (Gujarat Energy Research and Management Institute), where he leads projects on green hydrogen production, biogas utilization, and sustainable energy R&D. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Scientific Officer at GERMI, contributing to long-term strategy and innovation in clean energy technologies.

Previously, Dr. Rao was a Senior Project Fellow at the National Geophysical Research Institute, where he worked on foundational research supporting India’s energy and geoscience sectors. His combined expertise spans applied science, policy-focused research, and technology deployment in the clean energy space.
